KFPL is thrilled to welcome Ohio author Mindy McGinnis for a visit this September! Books will be available for purchase and signing. Our friends from Traveler’s Coffee Company will have delicious coffee, lattes, and beverages available for purchase to celebrate her visit. The event will be held in the Reading Garden, weather permitting, or may be moved inside. Registration is requested, but not required. 

Mindy McGinnis is an Edgar Award-winning novelist who writes across multiple genres, including post-apocalyptic, historical, thriller, contemporary, mystery, and fantasy. While her settings may change, you can always count on Mindy’s books to deliver grit, truth, and an unflinching look at humanity and the world around us. A ninth-generation farmer, Mindy attributes much of her character to growing up on an Ohio farm, learning the value of physical labor, and the harshness of the natural world early in life.
